Would emo/scene hair look okay on a red head?

I am 16 and I have red brown hair. and I wanna get an emo/scene hair cut...

should i get streaks put into it first? if so what color?

Don't know if I should answer this, because I am personally not a fan of the emo/scene look, myself. To me, it looks as if someone tried to cut their hair by themselves, or as if it is growing out strangely. However, if its what you're looking for, I say go for it. Red hair is just as edgy as black or blonde, and either way, its your head. As a matter of fact, maybe adding a dash of brightness to your hair with a semi-permanent dye that adds more redness or burgundy to your hair might add a little extra "oomph."
