see heres the thing i have naturally dirty blonde hair and i want to dye me whole head red..like a natural red or auburn (no strawberry blonde please!!!)

try it...if you hate it after, you can always re-dye it. try a semi-permanent hair color first......

i think it would look good. Maybe try an auburn with a slight shade of violet in it. I used to dye my hair red, and one thing to keep in mind is that it washes out really quickly so maintenence is a pain in the a$$.

i think u would look alright but it might come out slight reddish blonde.

i know cuz im a natural blonde myself and i dyed mine red but it turned reddish blonde.

It could look good with your green eyes.

You can go to Clairol products website (don't know right off hand what it is) and download a pic of yourself. Then you try different hair colors. Best to have a picture taken with all your hair slick and pulled back. The styles just wrap around your head sort of. There is probably other sites like this but i know that is free.

That or do a temporary -washes out in 6-8 washings type to see how ya like it.

Just remember red is the fastest color to wash out. The natural chlorine in the water does this as well as the PH of your shampoo.

I think you would look good in red hair, although not too light, orangey,or too flashy for that matter. You might want to go with a darker red, reddish/brown, auburn or burgundy/red. I'm sure it would look great on you.

Your look like a friend of mine- she has a natural reddish auburn color, and she's always getting complimented. I have looked thru hair styling magazines and on the back I've noticed an add where you can download your picture ( I think they charge around $14.00 or so) and they let you try 1000s of different styles and colors. I thought that was pretty cool so you can get an idea before you do it.

No way! Natural blondes like us are uncommon today. You should worship the blonde! Look, I dyed my hair auburn before because for once in my life, I wanted to be taken seriously, and get rid of the "dumb" blonde and Malibu Barbie nicknames. However, it got old blending in with every other girl, so a got some highlights and slowly let the color grow back in. That was a very painful process. If I were you I would get a mix of high and low lights and keep the cut. I love it now! Just if you don't already have layers (I can't tell in the photo) they'd also look great with it. Go Blondes!

I personally think you would look great if you where to color your hair red what I recommend is coloring your hair to a light Auburn Like Marica Cross from Desperate Housewives because you have beautiful light eyes and fair skin so you would look great as a redhead. red is tricky be careful. i turned my hair barney purple once trying to go red...... it might look really great. why dont you try on some wigs at a shop in that color and see before you jump!

Gosh you look awesome, trust me the dirty blond sits you pretty good, even if you are into goth fashion blond still looks perfect on you.

It looks like you have pink undertones in your skin so if you want to go red I would stick with a more cool color of red. These would be the more blue based/violet reds. Auburn would also look beautiful, (but keep it on the cool side) and I think it would make your green eyes really stand out.

I hope that you'll go to a stylist though to get this done...if you do a home color you could end up fading in the sun to a pink color because the at-home colors just don't hold as well as the professional colors do....I know this because I've had to do many color corrections on at-home reds gone bad.
