When i was little sun-in turned my blonde hair RED... i mean RED RED... so im scared to use it!

should i just stick with the lemons?

Almost all brown hair has red pigment in it. That's why so many young Chinese and Japanese kids have red hair, it's the amount of lightening they do. If you want it blonde, a WHOLE lot of bleaching's going to have to happen.... and don't be surprised if one session ends up in Bozo orange. The next would be canary yellow.

If you have a lot of natural red in your hair, that is exactly what will hapen when you try to bleach it just lightly! Yes, if the lemon juice works for you, just do that. I have lots of red undertones in my hair, so to get it all the way to light blonde, i had to use high powered developer ...the sun-in didn't work for me, either...i looked like a giant carrot, LOL!

Hey I used sun-in and I already have blonde hair so it made me blonder....but on the bottle it says that it could turn brown hair red. This is probably your problem...if it's not working for you, obviously stop using it.

Darker hair will go thru a red stage before it gets to blonde, now that you are older your hair shaft is thicker and I imagine your natural color is a couple of shades darker. Sometimes if you keep applying it, it will get to the blonde stage. Red then red-orange then orange then yellow then blonde??? This is what you could expect if you were to keep applying it.... hope this helps...good luck

then don't use it stick to lemons or even better b happy that your a natural blonde and don't need to use any harsh dyes

no honey...its a bleach and a harsh one at that.If u want to go blonde or lighter then go get it done properly.lemon also dries your hair out too especially using it and then going out into the sun.

Lots of beauty tricks are fake so never do anything u r unsure of.

If the undertones in your hair are red that is what it could pull up maybe even orange.Lemons are more natural and would be better than the other.BUT lemons do the same thing these things are only meant to lift up your hair 1 or 2 shades not really any more.If it does then you are most likely to get a color you don't want.Just go to the salon You spend little money for highlights or a lot to have corrected.

answer go to a sallys store or a good chemist and but a good toner the blonde colour you want and hey presto decent colour hair, sun in has always had its problems and your hair maybe more porous than normal
