my hair has been dyed black and brown for about a month now.

My real hair color is blonde.

Iam going to wait another month to dye my hair red and blonde, but Iam just wanting to know in advance,

How many dye jobs is this going to take?

What hair dye do you suggest I use?

and dont tell me I should go to a salon and get it done.

I'm no expert, but my friend colors hair on the side, and what I know from her is that you should go 2 or 3 shades lighter at a time and wait at least 2 weeks between dye jobs. Try to go to a beauty supply store like Sally's and buy the developer and tubes of color yourself.. it's a lot cheaper than a salon, and you're basically using the same products, only you're doing it yourself. The employees should be able to help you if you tell them what you're wanting to do, and they'll be able to offer to the right products and more detailed advice.

Omg!!!! Why do people dye their hair black! Girly, you have screwed it up, it will take about 3 or so sessions with your hairstylist to slowly bleach the color out of your hair. That is a big process too, don't ever try doing this yourself because you will get hair breaking off left and right. Honestly, go talk to your stylist, ask her to put a lot of hightlights in on top, so you can maybe do a blonde on top, and brown on the bottom thing which is so cute. If you want it done all one color, you still need to go to a hairsylist and have them do color correction which will run you about $70 to $300 plus the cost of the color after that.

If you really don't want to go to a salon, go to Sally's, there are some products there that remove color. After your hair is an orange color, you are ready to wash it out. Now for the blonde color, try to find a level 10 or 12 color, always get a blue or violet base color. For the red, make sure you redo the color every month because red washes out in about 2 weeks.

Hope this helps.
