hi, my sis wants to dye her hair red but since she's asian girl i think red would look not so good. not the rlly dark red though! her natural hair is dark brown. n she thinks black is boring. i personally prefer black but...what do you guyss would prefer?? she has light skin..maybe fair to light. tnx

Red is cooler but for your sister I think black with possibly some red highlights in it would look good.

If I had black hair or could wear black hair with my skin tone (I can't), I'd do a wash with that navy blue color. You could also do a wash with a deep burgundy red color - that would be awesome. :)

I prefer black hair. If she wants to put red into her hair, she should put highlights. And make sure that whatever she does to her hair isn't permanent. She might regret it in the future. I think the best highlights for black hair is hazel.

i think black would suit her becasue it's more natural. if she wants to make it look less boring tell her to go to a hair salon and get colored streaks like pink, purple etc. it looks really neat and unique. but if that's not her style, maybe the red would suit her but i think she should ask her hairdresser what's best for her.

Actually really bright red looks good on some Asian girls. She might try a few streaks in her hair just to see how it looks and if she likes it. There are a lot of products that wash out in 8-10 washes, so it won't be permanent. If she likes it, then she can always get the permanent kind and dye all of her hair and if she doesn't like it she doesn't have to dye her hair that color again if she doesn't want to.

Definately black. If she chooses red, she'll like it for about the first five days. After that, she'll just get plain sick of it.

Black would most likely go with her skin tone. You don't want other people to be giving her the wrong impression by the color of her hair. Unless she's getting a natural look, which will look a LOT better than a bright-red out-on-the-town color/look.

Although it IS her choice, I would prefer black, because it looks good on everyone.
