I have meduim-dark brown hair and I want to try to see what it looks like blonde. Does the maxi blonde from claioral work? It says on the box you can even use it on black hair. I heard if you dye your hair red then a week later dye it blonde it would work. Is this true? help me out cause I want to try my hair out as blonde!

peroxide volume 60 creme and bleach powder made my extremely black hair white blonde within minutes of use. It dries it a bit but nothing a oil treatment cant fix. the trick is to start from tip to root. dying your hair within a week from a color treatment will spoil your hair and is not recommended. Try the peroxide vol 60 or 40 and bleach powder.

Try putting in Blonde highlights first, I dyed my hair red and then wanted it blond and the hairdresser said that she can only get my hair blond by putting in highlights every few weeks and it worked, hope the advice helps.

You can dye your hair a different color every day if you want, but you need to apply "fillers" between colorings. A professional filler (product) stips your hair of all color pigments and prevents brown to blonde from turning green, brown to black from turning red, etc. If your doing drastic changes, its best that you consult a professional so as not to burn the hair (thus having to get it cut really short) or having it turn an unsightly color. This in turn will warrant a trip to a professional anyway!

No you cannot. Well, I guess you could if you wanted ugly pink/orange hair. To get the red out you'd have to bleach it. I would not recommend changing hair colors so much, it's really bad for your hair, and if you insist on changing it frequently, stay away form reds.
