How do you get the colors NOT to fade together? And my hair right now is black and blonde. How will I get the red/burgandy to look right and not look trashy with all the lighter and darker spots from how my hair is dyed now? Please help!!!

idyed my under part of my hair burgundy once...i didn't get the whole bottom...i want to try doing it again...with like dark brown...or dark burgundy. Yeah sounds cool tho. I would dye my top part of my hair blond..and the bottom red...will look much cooler.

if your hair is black, you can't go lighter with out bleaching it. Red fades the fasted and requires a lot of maintances. I have dark brown hair and got red highlights put in once. it fried my hair.
my advice is find a good salon to get this done if it's what you really want. be prepared to die it often.

Try taking the color that u have now off and then put the dark n 1st, then the light'r 1.
